Is your school mistreating survivors? Does it not do enough to prevent assault and harassment? Do you want to improve your administration and campus? Welcome to the movement against campus sexual violence.
A strong campus movement against assault and harassment will involve multiple strategies, but for clarity and simplicity we’ve identified three main categories of action:
- Legal action under Title IX
- Legal action under the Clery Act
- Non-legal activism (Not to be confused with illegal activism! Here you’ll find discussion of tips for student organizing on campus apart from legal advocacy)
On each of these three landing pages you’ll find a number of resources detailing the relevant laws and strategies at different levels of detail and guidance for using these options. Remember, as you explore, that combining two or three of these approaches may be particularly effective.
